SEND IN THE CLOWNS; DON'T BOTHER THEY'RE HERE:
Al Franken (aka the new monster, Frankenfascist) has just taken his seat as the 60th Democratic Senator. Are you kidding me?! Al Franken, the failed comic, bad satirist, loser hate-monger radio talk show personality? The Senate has obviously lost any speck of decency, prestige and dignity it ever had with this final blow. Who is next, Bozo the Clown or maybe Janeane Garofalo? How about a hand puppet, or is Franken already that? The lunatic fringe from the 1960s has taken over the government. Are any members of the Chicago 7 still alive that we could also get into the Senate or the Congress? As long as these bodies are now nothing more than a political joke, how about Al Capp's Jubilation T. Cornpone, old toot-your-own-horn pone; Jubilation T. Cornpone, a man who knew no fear; as a viable candidate for office? All 3 branches of the current government seem more like the characters in a children's fantasy book, (i.e. fairies, elves, and ogres), or a P.T. Barnum Circus (we already have the freaks in office). If I want a good laugh, all I have to do is go to C-Span and see our government in action, or inaction, and watch Barney Frank try to say "Thuffering Thuccotash" like Sylvester the Cat!
